Sharks Triumph in Thrilling Overtime Battle Against Saltus Knights

February 20, 2025 — In a heart pounding away game, our Somersfield Sharks emerged victorious over the Saltus Knights with a final score of 30-27. The match was a rollercoaster of emotions, featuring overtime play, physical challenges, and some controversial calls that kept fans, coaches, and players on edge, BUT we reign supreme. 

Grant Reese was instrumental in the Sharks' success, earning the MVP title for his outstanding performance and Owen Rosorea also made significant contributions, hitting crucial free throws when they mattered most.

Overall, it was wild; it was epic; it was grueling, BUT the Sharks' victory was well deserved. A huge congratulations to everyone on the team. From Axel Wideman to Holden Pettingill hitting shots when we were behind, and each player on the team putting in a tremendous shift on defense, it was truly a TEAM victory. 

This win underscores the Sharks' resilience and teamwork, setting a positive tone for the remainder of the season.
