Under-16 Netball Team Battles to a Thrilling Draw Against BHS

Our Under-16 netball team delivered an unforgettable performance against Bermuda High School (BHS) in a match that kept everyone on edge. Both teams showcased intense skill and determination, pushing each other right up to the final buzzer in an incredibly close 14-14 draw.

The game was neck-and-neck from the start, ending the first quarter tied at 4-4. By the second quarter, BHS pulled ahead to a 5-9 lead, but our girls came back fighting. The team delivered an outstanding third quarter, netting 7 goals to surge ahead with a 12-10 lead. As the final quarter wound down, the tension was palpable, and BHS managed to score the equaliser on the last play, concluding this nail-biting match.

Congratulations to our MVPs, Dezirae Darrell for her powerful and consistent defence, and Heidi Paulos, who excelled with her quick linking play in the centre. A big thank you also to alumna Shi-Vaughn Lee for umpiring the game with expertise—her support was invaluable!

Our players' resilience and teamwork shone brightly yesterday, making us incredibly proud.
